CARRIE LEE SEATE TUCK age 87, of 11759 Virgilina Road, Roxboro, NC died Saturday night, December 16, 2017 at Person Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Tuck was born April 3, 1930 in Person County, NC daughter of the late Robert Al & Mary Matilda Nelson Seate and was wife of 51 years to the late James Lloyd Tuck, Sr.  She was retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of High View Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Timothy Al “Timmy” Tuck & wife, Rachel of Roxboro, NC, four grandchildren, Casey James Tuck & wife, Ann, Nancy T. Kamp & husband, Albert, Joshua Wayne Tuck, Leah Marie Tuck, four great grandchildren, Amber Tuck, Dustin Tuck, Brandon Kamp, Blakely Kamp, a great-great grandchild, Piper Saunders, and daughter-in-law, Alice Aiken Tuck.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Tuck is preceded in death by two sons, Robert Wayne Tuck, James Lloyd “Jimmy” Tuck, Jr., sister, Ruth Seate Griffin, and brother, Arthur Seate.

The family will receive friends and guests Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 12:30 till 2:00 p.m. at High View Baptist Church and other times at the home of Timmy & Rachel Tuck, 11809 Virgilina Road, Roxboro.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at High View Baptist Church by the Rev. Avery Dalton.  Interment will follow in the Virgilina Cemetery.   

Pallbearers will be Glenn Glasscock, Ronald Morris, Chris Phillips, Stacey Rice, Wendell Rice, Al “Pee Wee” Seate, Larry Seate and Tony Tuck.  Al Day will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions may be made to the High View Baptist Church Building Fund, 144 High View Church Road, Roxboro, NC 27574.
