Donna Jean (Duke) Pergerson

DONNA JEAN DUKE PERGERSON, age 58, of Semora, NC passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones Friday afternoon, March 22, 2024 at her home.

Mrs. Pergerson was born June 10, 1965 in Person County, NC, daughter of the late Donald White Duke & the late Barbara Jean Harris Duke and was wife of the late Kevin O’Neil Pergerson.  She was employed as a care giver.

Donna Jean enjoyed cooking, cleaning, taking care of her patients, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Chase Pergerson & wife, Alisa, Travis Pergerson, five grandchildren, Natalie Pergerson, Braylee Pergerson, Lacie Pergerson, Sadie Pergerson, Eli Pergerson, siblings, Dale Duke, Linda Duke Simpson, David Duke, aunt, Susan Harris Porterfield, uncles, Jimmy Harris, Donnie Harris & wife, Mae, nieces, Amber Simpson, Krissy Duke, nephew, Daylon Duke, and a host of cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Pergerson is preceded in death by a brother, Chris Durwood Duke.

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, March 25, 2024 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Chase Chambers officiating.
