William Hester Lunsford, Jr.

WILLIAM HESTER LUNSFORD, JR. age 66, of 5411 Dirgie Mine Road, Roxboro, NC died Wednesday morning, June 23, 2021 at Maria Parham Health.

Mr. Lunsford was born September 17, 1954 in Person County, NC, son of the late William Hester Lunsford, Sr. & Shirby Jean Owens Lunsford.  Until he became unable, he worked as a farmer and did carpentry work and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are a brother, John Lunsford & wife, Tina, nephew, Joshua Clinton Lunsford & wife, Gabby, two nieces, Suni Jeanne Lunsford, Autumn Marie Roberson & husband, Ken, four great nieces and nephews, John Carter Lunsford, Caden Ray Lunsford, Addyson Jane Pulliam, Eli William Lunsford, and two aunts, Nettie Ann Lunsford, Pat Wilkins Lee.

Graveside memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021 in the J.C. Lunsford Family Cemetery with George Lunsford officiating.
