Wayne Adams Poole

WAYNE ADAMS POOLE, age 77, of 110 Harold Gill Road, Roxboro, NC died Sunday morning, September 1, 2024 at the home of his son.

Mr. Poole was born October 22, 1946 in Person County, NC, son of the late George Thomas & Edna Estelle West Poole.  He was a heavy equipment operator having worked for Champion Construction Company for more than 40 years and was a member of Trinity Methodist Church.

Wayne enjoyed mowing his lawn, talking trash, and feeding his fish.

Surviving are five children, Earlie “Twinkle” Poole & wife, Tammy of Rougemont, NC, Timmie Poole & wife, Kandy of Timberlake, NC, Tammie Morris, Jonie Poole, Shannon Walker & husband, Michael all of Roxboro, NC, siblings, Brenda Snead of Roxboro, NC, Herbert Poole of Mount Jackson, VA, nine grandchildren, Branden McBroom, Arien Jinks, Dustin Solomon, Donovan Poole, Keegan Poole, Samantha Poole, Summer O’Brien, Bethany Ehlert, Mayson Poole, sixteen great-grandchildren, Neveah Jinks, Ayden Jinks, Abel Jinks, Aubrey Solomon, Avary Solomon, Finley Ehlert, Cayden Solomon, Cooper Niehaus, Henry Niehaus, Brooklyn Williford, Everlee Williford, Jaden Love, D.J. Walker, Lucas Walker, Nolan Spencer, Harleigh Spencer, eight step-grandchildren, Jonathan Williford, Brittany Niehaus, Sarah Williford, Stephanie Walker, Michael Walker, Jr., Chris Walker, Charlie Carlos Walker, and April Harris.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Poole is preceded in death by his siblings, James Poole, Ivy Lou Poole, Patsy Ann Poole, Peggy Jo Rudd, William Taylor Poole, and Danny Thaxton Poole.

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the pond, 110 Harold Gill Road, Roxboro, NC.
