Virginia "Budda" Frances (Tuck) Weadon

VIRGINIA FRANCES “BUDDA” TUCK WEADON, age 66, of 214 Edgar Street, Roxboro, NC, died Sunday night, July 24, 2022 at Person Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Weadon was born January 31, 1956 in Person County, NC daughter of the late Edward & Henrietta Bowes Tuck and was wife of 32 years to Darrel Lynn Weadon who survives. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Budda enjoyed going to the mountains and beach, listening to live music, and watching Court TV.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Darnell Dixon & spouse, Pablo Luzardo of Raleigh, NC, two sisters, Mary Alice Holbrook, and Linda T. Talley both of Roxboro, NC.  

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weadon is preceded in death by a sister, Rose Tyson, four brothers, Buck Tuck, Roy Tuck, Ernest Tuck, and Carlton Tuck.  

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel. Interment will follow in the Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery, 7513 Hwy. 62, Blanch, NC.  The family will receive friends and guests for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home and other times at the home.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Holbrook, Pablo Luzardo, Jerry Pereira, Jake Spitzley, Jason Weadon, and Junior Weadon.
