Timothy Lynn Oakley

TIMOTHY LYNN OAKLEY, age 67, of Timberlake, NC died Friday evening, September 20, 2024 at Duke University Hospital.

Mr. Oakley was born December 10, 1956 in Princess Anne County, VA, son of the late Sidney Raymond & Lucille Dixon Oakley and was husband of 32 years to Tina Ann Martin Oakley who survives.  Prior to his retirement from Ricky Humphries Tire & Alignment he worked at Center Pontiac, Buick, GMC and was of the Baptist faith.

Tim enjoyed being outdoors, watching NASCAR, and mostly loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Erika Nicole Oakley Bowers & husband, Jacob, grandchildren, Harper Bowers, Mason Bowers, sisters, Bonnie Oakley Gwaltney & husband, Chuck, and Anne Oakley Stutzman. 

The family will receive friends and guests from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Strickland and Jones Funeral Services and other times at the home of Erika & Jacob Bowers, 535 Manor Drive, Timberlake, NC.
