Tammy Denise Redd

TAMMY DENISE REDD, age 56, of 1529 Gillis Road, Roxboro, NC passed away Wednesday morning, February 18, 2026 at her home. Born September 20, 1969 in Halifax Co., VA, daughter of the late Andrew Johnson Redd, Jr. & Ella Dean Whitt Redd who survives.  She worked in accounting for several different businesses, and was a member of North Fork Baptist Church.

Tammy enjoyed spending time with her dogs and friends, trips to the beach and mountains, but was happiest when spending time with her granddaughter.

Surviving in addition to her mother are a daughter, Courtney Bowes, granddaughter, Courtlynn Durden, grandson, Dallas Price, aunt, Mary Anice Redd, and a host of cousins & friends.

In addition to her father, Ms. Redd is preceded in death by an aunt, Emma Sue Redd.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2026 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Mike Whitt officiating.  The family will receive friends and guests from 3:00 till 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
