SANDRA KAY “SANDY” RIMMER LANKFORD, age 54, of 2353 Hurdle Mills Road Roxboro, NC passed away Monday morning, October 9, 2023 at her residence.

Ms. Lankford was born May 3, 1969 in Orange County, NC, daughter of the late Richard Alan & Relia May “Rita” Hicks Rimmer. She was previously employed with Royal Park Uniforms and was of the Baptist faith.

Sandy enjoyed scrapbooking, crafting, butterflies, and being with her family.

Surviving are three sons, Andrew “Drew” Porterfield & wife, Ashley, Jonathan A. Porterfield, Billy Lankford, siblings, Richard “Ken” Rimmer, Daniel Rimmer, Angela Weadon & husband, Gene, Lisa McKinney & husband, Virgil, granddaughter, Nova Porterfield who was her sunshine, and partner, Mike Hammock.

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at a date to be determined in November.
