"Ronnie" Ronald Edward Bowling

RONALD EDWARD “RONNIE” BOWLING, age 75, of 2510 Mt. Harmony Church Road, Rougemont, NC died Sunday evening, January 30,2022 at his home.

Mr. Bowling was born September 24, 1946 in Person County, NC, son of the late Floyd Henderson & Maggie Ola Taylor Bowling and was husband of 53 years to Donna Jane Bowling who survives. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.   

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Jason Edward Bowling of Rougemont, NC, Cindy Ola O’Briant of Zebulon, NC, three grandchildren, Logan O’Briant, Jacob Bowling, Maggie Warmbow, three sisters, Carolyn Luxton, Barbara Blalock, and Janie Williams.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowling is preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Thomas Bowling, George Wesley Bowling, two sisters, Alene B. Capps, and Alice Jeanette Pergerson. 

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2022 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Barry Chambers officiating.  The family will receive friends and guests for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
