Ronnie Lee Wilbourn

RONNIE LEE WILBOURN, age 70, of Greensboro, NC passed away Wednesday morning, December 17, 2025 at the Hock Family Pavilion. Born May 25, 1955 in Halifax Co., VA, son of the late Elsmere Allen Wilbourn & Daphne May Route Wilbourn.  He was a millwright and was of the Baptist faith.

Ronnie enjoyed camping, motorcycles, horses, listening to music (classic rock was his favorite), working on things, was very tech savvy, and was very patriotic.

Surviving are four children, Christy Miller (Chris Outlaw) of Timberlake, NC, Melissa Padgett & husband, Dean of Roxboro, NC, Madeline Starling & husband, Alan of Greenville, NC, Jesse Wilbourn & wife, Makenzie of Asheville, NC, six grandchildren, Jada Huntsinger, Courtney Hudson, Devin Hannah, Alexander Glenn, Odin Starling, Edward Starling, siblings, Allen Wilbourn & wife, Angela, Elsmere Wilbourn, Yvonne Burgett, Veronica Bohannon, and Vanessa Wilbourn.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilbourn is preceded in death by two sisters, Caroline Wilbourn, and Jacqueline Shumaker.

The family will receive friends and guests from 3:00 till 4:30 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Strickland and Jones Funeral Services.
