ROBERT LEWIS HOPKINS, age 76, of Roxboro, NC died Sunday night, June 11, 2023 at his home.
Mr. Hopkins was born March 11, 1947 in Durham County, NC, son of the late Robert Maryland & Beulah Mae Moon Hopkins. He was retired from General Telephone Company.
Robert enjoyed animals, watching westerns, and being retired.
Surviving are three children, Amy Braswell & husband, Craig of Princeton, NC, Michael Hopkins & wife, Brenda of Avon, IN, Kimberly Thompson & husband, Clint of Des Moines, IA, four grandchildren, Kaley Hopkins, Logan Hopkins, Lauren Hopkins, Hannah Thompson, two sisters, Helen Watson & husband, Robert of Roxboro, NC, Ruby Mangum & husband, Earl of Butner, NC, brother, Kenneth Hopkins of Alton, VA, and beloved cat, Honey.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hopkins is preceded in death by a grandson, Landon Thompson, sister, Imogene Ferrell, and brothers, Billy Hopkins, and James Hopkins.
A private Celebration of Life service will be conducted at a later date.
