Robert Lee Dowdy

ROBERT LEE DOWDY, age 61, of Rougemont, NC passed away Sunday evening, March 2, 2025 at Duke University Hospital. 

Mr. Dowdy was born March 10, 1963 in Alexandria, VA, son of the late Rudolph Cornell Dowdy & Donna Jane Conner Walker who survives.  He was of the Baptist faith and was a veteran of the US Navy.

Surviving in addition to his mother are brothers, Darrell Rudolph Dowdy, James Henry Dowdy, and sister, Eresha Dowdy O’Briant & husband, Daniel.

In addition to his father, Mr. Dowdy is preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Dwayne Dowdy.
