Richard Alan Temares

Richard Allen Temares, age 68 of Roxboro, NC passed away peacefully on June 15th, 2024.  He was born in St. Louis, MO on January 29th,1956 to the late John and Julia Temares.

Richard was the beloved husband of the late Alberta (Cherry) Temares and loving father to Jeremy Temares (Allyson), Pamela Davis (Robert), grandfather to Brittany, Brooke, Brent, and Jessie, dear brother to Julia Kelley (Bob), Steven Temares (Kay), Mary Cothran (John), Nancy Cottner, Gloria Stevens (Don), Susan Schmitz (Steve).

In addition to his parents and wife, Richard is preceded in death by a brother, John Anthony.

Richard was an enthusiastic hunter and pursued his passion in that at every opportunity. He was a member of multiple hunting clubs over the years and always had a hunting story to tell as he shared his favorite pastime with friends and loved ones. He also frequently volunteered his time and talents at various fundraising events for wildlife organizations within the community with his wife Alberta. Richard was a true sportsman and always returned from fishing with a full basket of fish! He was a dedicated gardener of vegetables and flowers and absolutely loved sharing his harvests with others.

A memorial barbecue is being planned for a future date.
