Richard Harold Reese

RICHARD HAROLD REESE, age 87, of Timberlake, NC passed away Monday morning, March 10, 2025 at the Durham VA Medical Center. 

Mr. Reese was born July 11, 1937 in Long Beach, CA, son of the late William Brice & Nora Moran Reese Smith and was husband of 51 years to Judy Diane Jeffries Reese who survives.  He was retired as a self-employed barber and was a veteran of the US Air Force.

Richard enjoyed fishing, flying airplanes and anything avaition, antiques, motorcycles, old cars, Polka music, and traveling.  He was a people person and loved the scenery of the dessert.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Dana Reese Connell & husband, Quinn, Kevin Reese, Kelly Reese, grandchildren, Taiylor Gwin, Josh Farrar, Richard K. Reese, Kenny Reese, Brandy Reese, Nico Reese, great-grandchildren, Reese Fredendall, Karson Tarpley, Aubree Estrada, Bruin Farrar, step-daughter, Angie Glenn, step-grandchildren, Chad Ferguson, and Crystal Ferguson.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Reese is preceded in death by a son, Richard D. Reese, and granddaughter, Jessica Mendenhall.

The family will have a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
