Peggy (Wilkins) Linville

PEGGY WILKINS LINVILLE, age 92, of Roxboro, NC passed away Friday morning, January 3, 2025 at Roxboro Healthcare & Rehabilitation. 

Mrs. Linville was born June 7, 1932 in Person County, NC, daughter of the late Winfrey Alexander & Sue Satterfield Wilkins.  She was retired from Convenience Corner Inc. and JES Properties, and was a member of Roxboro Baptist Church.

Peggy loved animals, especially cats and enjoyed watching golf & tennis, and spending time with her family.   

Surviving are two children, Robert Franklin “Bob” Linville, Jr. & wife, Stephanie of Roxboro, NC, Tracy Linville Coyle & husband, Brian of Wake Forest, NC, two grandchildren, Hester Claire Linville, Robert F. “Tres” Linville, III, three brothers, Winfrey A. “Wink” Wilkins, Jr. & wife, Frances, Michael S. Wilkins & wife, Jackie, and Ray Wilkins.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Linville is preceded in death by two sisters, Kathleen Wilkins Lacey, and Jean Wilkins Holt.

Honoring Peggy’s wishes, no services will be planned.
