PAULINE PAINTER CASH, age 96, of 463 Chambers Loop Road, Timberlake, NC passed away Monday afternoon, December 9, 2024 at her home.
Mrs. Cash was born December 2, 1928 in Person County, NC, daughter of the late William Weldon Painter & Roxie Long Painter and was wife of the late Bunnie Lee Cash. She was a homemaker and was a member of Helena Methodist Church.
Pauline was a loving wife for 37 years and loyal protector of her very large family until her last breath. There was nothing in life Pauline loved more than her family, including her church family. She was a lifelong and devoted member of Helena Methodist Church and served on numerous church committees, several local church missions including but not limited to Cambridge Hills visits (serving her delicious pound cake) and Christian Help Center activities. Pauline lived her life with unwavering faith, which led her to raise her family with a kind heart and forgiving soul making her a beacon of light for our entire lives. To know Pauline was to know warmth and unconditional love; there was never a time in her life you would not see her light up with joy the moment a loved one walked into the room, you were always greeted with her million-dollar smile and if you were one of the lucky ones, a hug around the neck. Pauline Cash is and forever will be the heartbeat of our family, she will be missed beyond measure for the rest of our days but we will rejoice in knowing she is back with the love of her life and her loved ones that met her with open arms.
Pauline enjoyed reading, quilting, listening to bluegrass music, and volunteering at the Christian Help Center.
