Paul Edward Hair

PAUL EDWARD HAIR, age 72, of 2330 Ned Moore Road, Timberlake, NC passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, January 20, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at his home.

Mr. Hair was born June 28, 1949 in Harnett County, NC, son of the late John Bright Hair & the late Neggie Lena Hayes Hair and was husband of 51 years to Brenda Huskins Hair who survives.  He was owner/operator of C&P Siding since 1983 of which he loved making homes beautiful for his clients and was of the Baptist faith.

His passions were visiting with his grandchildren and seeing them smile, giving people nicknames, and feeding large groups of people.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Chandler Hair & wife, Lauren, Melanie Hair Winstead & husband Allen all of Timberlake, NC, four grandchildren, Henry & Harvey Winstead, Caroline & Preston Hair, sister, Betty Huff Holt Reaves, nephews, James Huff, Buddy Huff, and a host of other extended family.

In addition to his parents Mr. Hair is preceded in death by half-brother, David Earl Jernigan, nephew, Johnny Huff, and his beloved dog, Mikey. 

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 23, 2022 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Dr. M. David Chambers, the Rev. Kathy Wilkinson, and Linward Hedgpeth officiating. The family will receive friends and guests from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Dean, Linward Hedgpeth, Harold Huskins, Jimmy Lewis, Jeff Norman, and Roger Wade.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protection Society of Person County, P.O. Box 291, Roxboro, NC 27573.
