"Mike" William Michael Oakley

WILLIAM MICHAEL “MIKE” OAKLEY, age 61, of Roxboro, NC died Saturday morning, April 15, 2023 at Person Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Oakley was born September 8, 1961 in Person County, NC, son of the late William Calvin Oakley & Deloris Juanita Robertson Ford.  He was a carpenter and enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, golfing, country music, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are two sisters, Deborah Hancock & husband, Dewey of Roxboro, NC, Gail Mise & husband, Dennis of Leasburg, NC, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Oakley is preceded in death by a step-sister, Tammy Ford.

The family will receive friends and guests Saturday, April 15, through Monday, April 17, 2023 at the home of Deborah & Dewey Hancock, 431 Younger Road, Roxboro, NC.
