Michael Decker Obituary

MICHAEL EDWARD DECKER, age 74, of Roxboro, NC passed away Friday morning, December 26, 2025 at Person Memorial Hospital. Born October 24, 1951 in Erie Co., NY, son of the late Edward & Irene Yanko Decker. He was retired from Mead/Westvaco Corp. with more than 30 years of service.

Michael enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

Surviving are Gloria (Kusmierz) Decker, children, Michael Anthony Decker, Nikole Schukraft & husband, Larry, three grandchildren, Maverick Schukraft, Dylan Schukraft, Patience Decker, two sisters, Pepper Forte & husband, Kenton, and Sharon Julyan.

Honoring Michael’s wishes, no services are planned.
