MAXINE LaVERN “MICKI” FAUGHT LUTZ, age 65, of 65 Landmark North Road, Roxboro, NC passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones Monday morning, March 25, 2024 at her home.
Mrs. Lutz was born February 21, 1959 in Stanislaus County, CA, daughter of the late David Samuel & Doris LaVerne Harden Faught and was wife of nearly 15 years to Brian Edward Lutz who survives. She was a hairdresser and was of the Baptist faith.
Micki enjoyed listening to country music, dancing, laughing & joking, watching old programs like Little House on the Prairie, The Waltons, and Andy Griffith, and taking trips to the beach and mountains.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Jennifer Suttle, Dawn Oliver & husband, Daniel, four grandchildren, Christopher Lutz, Carrie Suttle, Casey Suttle, Kimber Oliver, three sisters, Teresa Williams, Mary Cuneo, and Gayle Davis.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lutz is preceded in death by two sons, Michael Hicks, Adam Lutz, grandson, Julian Suttle, sister, Laura Ramsey, and brother, David Faught.
Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, March 29, 2024 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Patrick Sinclair officiating. The family will receive friends and guests for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
