Mary Joe (Harmon) Marcoux

MARY JOE HARMON MARCOUX, age 78, of 314 Lawrence Street, Roxboro, NC passed away Wednesday evening, December 13, 2023 at Rose Manor Health & Rehab.

Ms. Marcoux was born January 23, 1945 in Calhoun County, AL, daughter of the late Floyd Wilbur & Elizabeth Henderson Harmon.  She worked in food service at Roxboro Christian Academy and Biscuitville.

Mary enjoyed gardening, cooking, and being with her family.

Surviving are two children, Lisa Marcoux of Carolina Beach, NC, Wayne Marcoux & wife, Yvonne of Saginaw, MI, seven grandchildren, Ashley Marcoux (Nathan Williams), Amber, Charlie, Phillip, Karissa, Khrystyna, Thomas, three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Isabella, Bradyn, and siblings, Jim, and Chuck.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Marcoux is preceded in death by siblings Gerald, and Barb. 

No services are planned at this time.
