Mary (Thompson) Fish

MARY THOMPSON FISH, age 94, of 1284 Leasburg Road, Roxboro, NC died Tuesday afternoon, October 25, 2022 at Person Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Fish was born December 25, 1927 in Durham County, NC, daughter of the late Lannie McAbee Thompson and was wife of the late William Bryant Fish.  She was retired from Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company and was of the Baptist faith.

Mary enjoyed fishing, bowling, dancing, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Moore of Timberlake, NC, granddaughter, Sandy Powell of Roxboro, NC, two great granddaughters, Maleya Alston and Kayla Bumpass.

In addition to her mother and husband, Mrs. Fish is preceded in death by two sons, Earl Hackney and Donald Fish.
