Mark Alan Campbell

MARK ALAN CAMPBELL, age 70, of Sanford, NC passed away Sunday night, June 1, 2025 at Lenoir UNC Health Care. 

Mr. Campbell was born November 28, 1954 in Cook County, IL, son of the late Nylen Mac & Joanne Cole Campbell.  He was a homemaker and was a veteran of the US Army.

Mark enjoyed watching all sports, building model airplanes, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Surviving are three daughters, Devon Capron & husband, Jay, Fern Everhart & husband, Michael, Emily Wildes & husband, Darrell Fuqua, eight grandchildren, Jack Capron, Madi Capron, Shemiah Wells, Tessa Hale, Jacob Fuqua, Austin Fuqua, Shannon Lipke, Cassie Lipke, two sisters, Cary Castaldo, and Molly Campbell.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Campbell is preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Lipke, and sister, Tracy Campbell Kaczynski.

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2025 in the Salisbury National Cemetery.
