Marcus Benjamin Morgan

MARCUS BENJAMIN MORGAN, age 12, of 566 Jones Store Road, Roxboro, NC died Friday morning, August 19, 2022 at his home.

Marcus was born August 30, 2009 in Worcester County, MA, son of James Travis Morgan, Jr.  He was an upcoming 8th grader and enjoyed trips to the beach, amusement parks, and playing sports, especially baseball and basketball.

Surviving in addition to his father are a brother, Jonathan Gabriel Morgan, sister, Naomi Cabrera, uncle, Lance Leduc & wife Julie of Woodstock, CT, aunt, Lea Morgan of New Bedford, MA, family friends, Janel & Phillip Williams, great-uncle, Leonard Leduc, Jr., and a host of cousins.

Marcus is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lisa Noella Leduc, and paternal great-grandfather, Leonard Leduc “Pep” Sr. 

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at New Life Independent Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Whitt officiating.  The family will receive friends and guests from 3:30 till 5:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
