Lorraine (Lang) Evans

LORRAINE LANG EVANS, age 82, of 138 Magnolia Drive, Roxboro, NC died Tuesday afternoon, February 18, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Evans was born May 9, 1937 in Allegheny County, PA, daughter of the late Bernard Raymond Lang, & the late Vera McArdle Lang and was wife of the late Hamilton Ray Evans.  She was retired from the Durham County School System and was of the Christian faith.

Surviving are two children, Lorene Denise Evans of Pittsburgh, PA, Scott Evans & wife, Michelle of Timberlake, NC, two grandchildren, Hamilton Ray Anthony Evans, and Samone Denise Evans.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Evans is preceded in death by a brother, Bennie Lang.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2020 in the Burchwood Cemetery with Chaplin Merritt Buchanan officiating.  The family will receive friends and guests from 2:00 till 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
