Obituary
LINDA MARIE RUSSELL SPARROW age 78 of 290 Cedar Creek Road, Timberlake, NC died Thursday evening, February 24, 2022 at Duke University Hospital.
Mrs. Sparrow was born June 1, 1943 in Durham County, NC, daughter of the late John Henry & Nina Ruth Lynn Russell and was wife of the late Ronald Lee Sparrow, Sr. She was retired from Reeves & Company and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Linda enjoyed going to the beach, playing online games and Phase 10, watching wrestling, and spending time with family.
Surviving are three children, Angela Dawn Davis & husband, David, Christopher Clay Sparrow & wife, Kenneshia all of Roxboro, NC, Anthony Mark Sparrow, Sr. & wife, Michelle of Creedmoor, NC, six grandchildren, Anthony Markham, Kristin Sparrow, Austin Mathews, Mark Sparrow, Jr., Brandon Sparrow, Megan Sparrow, three great grandchildren, AbbieMarie Sparrow, HunterLee Sparrow, Penny Knott, sister, Judy R. Carroll & husband, Jerry of Creedmoor, NC, and companion, Esper Lee Nash.
Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel. The family will receive friends and guests at the home of Angela & David Davis, 1422 North Main Street, Roxboro, NC.
