Lawrence Henry Land, Sr.

LAWRENCE HENRY LAND, SR., age 61, of Roxboro, NC passed away Saturday morning, December 27, 2025 at his home. Born October 15, 1964 in Person Co., NC, son of the late James Earl & Dorothy Anna Blackwell Land and was husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Ferguson Land.  He was previously employed with Collins & Aikman Corp., Crown Crafts, Inc., Force Protection, North American Aerodynamics, and was of the Baptist faith.

Lawrence enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, watching old westerns, tending his garden, and spending time with his family & friends.

Surviving are two daughters, Candace Land, Samantha Lee & husband, Rodney, two grandchildren, Emmary Jackson, Riley Lee, two sisters, Mary L. Harper, and Barbara L. Blume.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Land is preceded in death by two sons, Lawrence Henry Land, Jr., William Thomas James Land, siblings, Richard Land, Anna Mae Deaton, Wanda L. Gulley, and Ethel L. Williams.
