Katherine "Kathy" Marie (Henley) Keesling

KATHERINE MARIE “KATHY” HENLEY KEESLING age 68, of 440 Sunnyvale Lane, Roxboro, NC died Thursday morning, January 20, 2022 at her home.

Ms. Keesling was born July 6, 1953 in Wythe County, VA, daughter of the late Lewis Lee & Mildred Magdeline Gravley Henley.  She was retired from Piedmont Community College and was a member of Cavel Baptist Church.

Kathy enjoyed reading, trips to the beach, working with her flowers, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are a daughter, Laura K. Adams & husband, Chris of Roxboro, NC, grandson, Hunter Adams, sister, Pamela Caudell of Burlington, NC, two brothers, Stephen Henley & wife, Libby of Wytheville, VA, Gary Henley & wife, Pamela of Rural Retreat, VA, special nieces and nephews, Jennifer Crichlow & husband, Tom, Todd Henley & wife, Tina, Matthew Henley, Nathanial Henley & wife, Crystal, great nieces and nephew, Henley Crichlow, Catelyn Cales, Leon Henley, step-mother, Verna Henley, and half-sister, Beverly Wynn & husband, Roger.

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Susan Davis officiating.  The family will receive friends and guests from 1:00 till 2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.

Due to COVID-19, masks will be required.
