JUDY ANN MOORE, age 80, of Timberlake, NC peacefully transitioned on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Born October 5, 1945 in Person County, NC, daughter of the late Alfred Grady & Ruebelle Whittington Moore.
She is survived by a son, Glenn Dunn & wife, Heidi of Timberlake, NC; daughter, Denise Baker & husband, Timothy of Rose Hill, NC; sister, Ellen Ray (John Roberts); brother, Donald Moore & wife Judy, all of Durham, NC, seven grandchildren, Daryl Keyser (Amy), Danielle Strickland (Jeremy), David Keyser (Megan), Mikhayla Dunn (Christopher Kistner), Gabrielle Allison (Devon), Victoria Seifert (James), Dalton Dunn (Kendall Layton), eight great-grandchildren, Blake Keyser, Harleigh Keyser, Ellie Mae Keyser, Chloe Strickland, Kaleigh Strickland, Levi Strickland, Lawson Seifert, and Lainey Seifert.
Judy graduated Roxboro High School in 1964 and in addition to motherhood, held two major professions during her lifetime. She was the owner/operator of Red Top Stables and later attended the NC Truck Driving School, leading to a long-haul truck driver career of 27 years.
All her life, she was fiercely loyal to and protective of her family. She loved all types of animals, especially horses and cats. There were no doubts to her love of Jesus and family. After retirement, she cherished hearing sermons with her Bible in hand. Judy was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2026 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Dr. M. David Chambers officiating. The family will receive friends and guests from 1:00 till 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Person Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Devon Allison, Dalton Dunn, Christopher Kistner, John Roberts, James Seifert, and Jeremy Strickland. Honorary pallbearers will be Daryl Keyser, and David Keyser.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, P.O. Box 185, Timberlake NC 27583.
