Judith Hanes Dunn

JUDITH HANES DUNN, age 60, of Hubert, NC and formerly of Roxboro, NC died Friday afternoon, September 6, 2024 at her home.

Ms. Dunn was born January 23, 1964 in Person County, NC, daughter of the late Bennie Thomas Dunn, Sr. & Mary Elizabeth Alexander Dunn.  She was retired from nursing and was a member of North Roxboro Baptist Church.

Hanes enjoyed gardening, cross stitching, and going to yard sales.

Surviving are her siblings, Star D. Burgess & husband, David of Harmony, NC, Bennie Thomas “Joey” Dunn, Jr. & wife, Karen of Mountain View, CA, friend, Clifton Lowery, Jr., niece & nephews, Amanda Rogers, A.J. Rogers, Joshua Dunn, Jacob Dunn, Justin Humphries, and a host of cousins. 

In addition to her parents, Ms. Dunn is preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Barlett Dunn Humphries, nephews, Caleb Dunn, and Alex Humphries.

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 14, 2024 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel.
