Joseph Michael Fordyce

JOSEPH MICHAEL FORDYCE, age 74, of Roxboro, NC died Friday night, November 29, 2024 at Duke Regional Hospital.

Mr. Fordyce was born November 1, 1950 in Washington County, PA, son of the late Theodore Roosevelt & Mary Brownlee Jolley Fordyce and was husband of Becky Lynn Mayer Fordyce who survives.  He was retired from the US Air Force after 32 years of service.

Joseph enjoyed fishing from his boat, hunting, bowling, playing Farkle, golfing with his son, and spending time with his family and pet dogs.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Holly Jones of Roxboro, NC, Christopher Fordyce of PA, Beth Fordyce of PA, six grandchildren, Cody Jones, Brenden Jones both of Roxboro, NC, Jordan Jones of Durham, NC, Destiny Carter, Allysa Carter, Madison Boyd all of PA, and his poodles, Teddy & Chipper. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fordyce is preceded in death by a brother, Theodore Archibald Fordyce.
