Jonathan Aaron Briggs

JONATHAN AARON BRIGGS, age 48, of Timberlake, NC passed away peacefully Monday morning, September 15, 2025 at his home. Born February 3, 1977 in Durham Co., NC, son of the late Norman Herbert Briggs & the late Ruth Lane Cates Carter.

Mr. Briggs enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding 4-wheelers, and spending time with his family & friends.

Mr. Briggs is survived by a daughter, Haisley Willow Briggs, two sisters, Felicia Briggs, Triscica White, nieces, Caitlin Thomas, Chasity White, nephews, Corey White, and Cameron White.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Briggs is preceded in death by his step-father, William Cecil Carter.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel.  The family will receive friends and guests from 2:00 till 3:00 p.n. prior to the service at the funeral home.
