Jerome "Bob" Randolph Dorsett

JEROME RANDOLPH “BOB” DORSETT, age 81, of Oxford, NC passed away Sunday night, December 21, 2025 at his home with his loving family by his side. Born April 3, 1944 in Duval Co., FL, son of the late Max Enrique & Virgie Walker Dorsett and was husband of 25 years to Connie Jo Campbell Dorsett who survives.  He was previous owner of Dorsett Dental Labs, was retired from the VA, and was a veteran of the US Coast Guard.

Bob enjoyed motorcycles, making jewelry, painting, working in his vegetable garden, reading, classic cars, and was an avid animal lover.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Julie D. Cheek & husband, Buck of Liberty, NC, Jaime R. Carter & husband, David of Narrows, VA, Dina R. Byrd & husband, Brian of Benson, NC, two grandsons, Jeffrey Forehand & wife, Alma, Andrew Forehand & wife, Kelli, seven other bonus grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, brother, Ronnie W. Dorsett, and sister, Vicki D. Hayes.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Dorsett is preceded in death by a grandson, Juston L. Price.

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the home.
