Jennifer Lynn (Millhouse) James

JENNIFER LYNN MILLHOUSE JAMES, age 51, of Roxboro, NC passed away Friday morning, February 6, 2026 at Person Memorial Hospital.  Born August 5, 1974 in Montgomery County, PA, daughter of the late Charles Fredrick & Nellie Sue Duncan Millhouse and was wife of nearly 19 years to William Ira “Bill” James who survives.  She was previously employed with Roxboro Med Peds, and Person Memorial Hospital and was a member of Somerset Baptist Church.

Jennifer enjoyed her dogs, watching soap operas, beach trips, and spending time with her grandson.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Dylan Lee Bowes, Chase Thomas Spencer, Karleigh Nicole James, grandson, Braxtyn Lee Spencer, sisters, Amanda M. Small & husband, Kelly, Sandra M. Quattro & husband, Stephen, Linda M. McDermott & husband, Christopher, Kathleen M. Law & husband, Joseph, brother, Daniel Millhouse & wife, Marjorie, nephew, Zach Small, and a host of other nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2026 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Gene Wolfe officiating.  Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and guests from 12:00 till 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Cox, Manley Dillard, Bradley Duncan, Zach Murphy, Mark Stone, and William Stone.
