Jason Scott Hudson

JASON SCOTT HUDSON, age 34, of 85 Brook Hollow Road, Timberlake, NC died Wednesday afternoon, April 26, 2023 at Duke Regional Hospital.

Mr. Hudson was born July 5, 1988 in Essex County, MA, son of Scott Arthur & Karin Lee Canney Hudson who survive. He was a welder and was of the Christian faith.

Jason enjoyed making beef jerky, riding his motorcycle, gardening, all types of music, playing video games, watching UFC Fighting, and was an avid Boston Red Sox & New England Patriots fan.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Joshua Hudson of the home, maternal grandmother, Angela Canney of Lynn, MA, paternal grandmother, Linda Hudson of Billerica, MA, aunts & uncles, Paula & Mark Galatis, Vinnie Canney, Richard & Barbara Hudson, Karen Hudson, Patty & Tony Cruppi, cousins, Elizabeth, Emily, Nicole, Kristina, Robert, Keith, Amanda, and Rebecca.

Mr. Hudson is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roger Canney, Sr., paternal grandfather, Richard Hudson, Sr., uncles, Roger Canney, Jr., and Marc Canney.

The family will receive friends and guests from 1:00 till 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Strickland and Jones Funeral Services.
