Jason Edward Bowling

JASON EDWARD BOWLING, age 48, of 2510 Mt. Harmony Church Road, Rougemont, NC died Wednesday afternoon, March 16,2022 at Duke University Hospital.

Mr. Bowling was born September 25, 1973 in Person County, NC, son of the late Ronald Edward “Ronnie” Bowling & Donna Jane Bowling who survives. He was a farmer and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Jason enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and hunting.   

Surviving in addition to his mother are a son, Jacob Bowling, sister, Cindy Ola O’Briant of Zebulon, NC, nephew, Logan O’Briant, niece, Maggie Warmbrod, aunts and uncles, Carolyn Luxton, Barbara Blalock, Janie Williams, Elaine Smith, Richard Bowling, David Bowling, Brad Bowling, and Mike Bowling.

In addition to his father, Mr. Bowling is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marvin “Keeny” & Ercelle Jones Bowling, paternal grandparents, Floyd & Ola Taylor Bowling, and a host of aunts and uncles. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2022 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Barry Chambers officiating.  Interment will follow in the Bowling Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and guests from 6:00 till 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bryon Blalock, Jeff Blalock, Donnie Bowling, Kelly Bowling, Timmy Bowling, and Logan O’Briant.
