Janette (Harris) Duncan

JANETTE HARRIS DUNCAN, age 83, of Roxboro, NC passed away peacefully Friday morning, July 18, 2025 at her home with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Duncan was born July 25, 1941 in Person County, NC daughter of the late Ben Franklin Harris and Estelle Weaver Harris, and was companion of 41 years to the late Joe Johnson, Sr.  She was retired from Eaton Corp. after 35 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. 

Mrs. Duncan is survived by children, Ricky Duncan (Jeannette), Carol Smith (Carl), Dennis Duncan (Donielle), Teresa Chambers (Steven), Tammy Carey (David), Joe Johnson Jr. (Christy),  grandchildren, Tausha Lowery (Monty), Brooke Rankin (Drew), Emily Hepler, Michael Smith, Stella Fuller, Jessica Smith (Drew), Joshua Holland (Patty), Jeremiah Johnson, Dalton Johnson, great grandchildren, Alex Lowery, Sam Rankin, Walker Rankin, Brimlee Hepler, Zoey Hepler, twin sister, Annette Meadows, and brother, Pee Wee Harris.

In addition to her parents and companion, Mrs. Duncan is preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin Harris, and sister, Margaret Hall.

At her request, no services are planned.
