James "Lee" Leroy Hall, Jr.

JAMES LEROY “LEE” HALL, JR., age 73, of 156 Sycamore Road, Roxboro, NC, passed away Saturday afternoon, March 21, 2026 at his home.  Mr. Hall was born July 18, 1952 in Halifax County, VA, son of the late James Leroy Hall, Sr. & Hazel Louise Ford Hall.  He was owner/operator of Hall’s Plumbing, Heating, & Air, was a member of Overflow Worship Center.  Lee also had a love for Bethel Hill Baptist Church where he went as a child into his adult life and continued having strong relationships and precious memories of his time spent there.

Lee enjoyed old cars, playing softball, flag football, basketball, working, and spending time with his family & friends.

Surviving are two children, Stephanie H. England & husband, Jason, Jeremy D. Hall & wife, Becky, seven grandchildren, Dylan England, Hanna England, Hadyn England, Hazyl England, Holden Hamilton, Grady Hamilton, Rush Lee Hall, siblings, Johnny O. Hall & wife, Sarah, Brian K. Hall & wife, Joyce, Tammy H. Morris & husband, Curtis, Zeb & Michelle Barnette and family who Lee considered part of his family, and a host of special nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Bethel Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Chase Chambers officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends and guests from 2:00 till 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church and other times at the home.

Pallbearers will be Zeb Barnette, Jordon Hall, Brett Hurdle, Cory Melton, Tyler Morris, Charles Solomon, Pat Stewart, and Nicky Webster.  Honorary pallbearers will be Brent Carver, Doug Chambers, Bill Gentry, Scott Morrow, Andy Riley, Gordon Solomon, Howard Solomon, Cleveland Wagstaff, and Jimmy Wilkins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Duke Hospice, 4023 North Roxboro Road, Durham, NC 27704.
