James Reaves Obituary
JAMES THOMAS REAVES, age 67, of Roxboro, NC passed away peacefully Monday morning, April 29, 2024 at Duke Regional Hospital.
Mr. Reaves was born November 26, 1956 in Person County, NC, son of the late Burley Thomas Reaves & Shirley Virginia Bowes Reaves. He was a carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.
James enjoyed riding his Moped, visiting with family & friends, joking, and making people laugh.
Surviving are four daughters, Misty, Melissa, Kurstin, Maggie, two sisters, Joyce R. Bowes, Norma R. Bailey & husband, James, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Reaves is preceded in death by a son, Burley Thomas Reaves, and sister, Nora Lee Bohanon.
Visitation will be held at Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 6:30 till 8:00 p.m. and other times at the home of Norma & James Bailey, 17 Alfred Palmer Lane, Roxboro, NC.
