Grady Ray Cain

GRADY RAY CAIN, age 86, of 795 Iron Gate Road, Clarksville, VA, died Tuesday night, February 1, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Cain was born August 12, 1935 in Wyoming County, WV, son of the late William Thomas & Ila Whittington Cain and was husband of 20 years to Judieth Kaye Taylor Cain who survives. He was retired from Lewis Metals as a welder and was of the Baptist faith.

Grady enjoyed riding horses, doing yardwork, being outside, and spending time with his family. 

Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Jesse Cain of Dillsburg, PA, Colleen Arcand of Gillett WI, Connie Bastian of Green Bay, WI, Ray Cain of Baltimore, MD, step-daughter, Crystal Smith of Stokesdale, NC, two brothers, Larry Cain, Charles Cain, three brothers-in-law, Jeff Taylor of Elkin, NC, Chris Taylor of Leasburg, NC, and Jonathan Taylor of Danville, VA.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cain is preceded in death by a son, Rocky Cain, two brothers, Wade Cain, Jack Cain, and sister, Wanda Anderson. 

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 6, 2022 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Tessa Saeli officiating.
