Earl Wayne Paul

EARL WAYNE PAUL, age 75, of 737 Cavel Chub Lake Road, Roxboro, NC passed away Monday evening, January 13, 2025 at his home. 

Mr. Paul was born May 11, 1949 in Person County, NC, son of the late Marion Thomas & Mary Madgaline Duncan Paul and was husband of 56 years to Wilma Kate Martin Paul who survives.  He was retired as a self-employed plumber and was a member of Theresa Baptist Church.

Earl was a very simple man who enjoyed talking ball (baseball & softball), coaching young boys, collecting just about anything, doing his plumbing work, restoring old trucks, watching westerns and Kramer, and spending time with his grandchildren. 

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, William “Will” Paul, Shawn W. Paul & wife, Heather, three grandchildren, Levi Paul & wife, Faith, Laci Paul, Christian Paul, two sisters, Mary P. Regan & husband, Bradsher, Faye P. Parham, brother, Ray Paul & wife, Betsy, and aunt, Minnie Seamster.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Paul is preceded in death by a brother, James Paul.

Private family graveside services will be conducted with the Rev. Vernon Wilkerson officiating. The family will receive friends and guests at the home. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Clarence Edwards, Al Stevens, Bobby Seamons, and Tommy Suitt.
