DONALD LEE DUNCAN, age 84, of 140 Collin Duncan Road, Leasburg, NC passed away peacefully Monday morning, October 13, 2025 at the home of his daughter.
Mr. Duncan was born March 17, 1941 in Person County, NC, son of the late Collin Louis & Viola Barts Duncan and was husband of the late Linda Wray Long Duncan. He was retired from Reams & Wallace Clayton Contractors and was a member of Theresa Baptist Church where he served as Deacon.
Donald enjoyed singing in the Revelations Quartet, watching his grandkids play ball, working on the farm, and going out to The Mayflower to eat.
Surviving are two children, Melinda D. Bosch & husband, Mark, Kirk Duncan & wife, Alysia, eight grandchildren, Brooke Rankin & husband, Drew, Jordan Walker, Nathan Bosch & wife, Tabitha, Emily Hepler, Coty Duncan, Kalliope Duncan, Allison Duncan, Jasper Duncan, nine great-grandchildren, Sam Rankin, Walker Rankin, Skylar Starling, Maria Walker, Tony Walker, Oliver Bosch, Kira Bosch, Brimlee Hepler, Zoey Hepler, siblings, Barbara D. Davis, O.C. Duncan & wife, Linda, and a host of nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Duncan is preceded in death by two brothers, James Louis Duncan, and Burnell Duncan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2025 at Theresa Baptist Church with the Rev. Herbert Brown, and Pastor David Bunch officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and guests from 1:30 till 3:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of Mark & Melinda Bosch, 120 Collin Duncan Road, Leasburg, NC.
Pallbearers will be Dillion Davis, Hank Davis, Robert Duncan, Matt Hepler, Marvin Oakes, and Brad Scott. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Long, Drew Rankin, Sam Rankin, Walker Rankin, and A.G. Westbrooks.
