Debra Kay (Miller) McCord-Agee

DEBRA KAY MILLER McCORD-AGEE, age 67, of Roxboro, NC passed away Thursday afternoon, August 7, 2025 at Person Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. McCord-Agee was born June 12, 1958 in Duluth, MN, daughter of the late Stuart Francis & Faith Coral Partridge Miller and was wife of nearly thirteen years to Vance William Agee who survives.  She was a self-employed day care teacher and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. McCord-Agee enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, gardening, teaching, reading the Bible, and she loved animals of all kinds.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. McCord-Agee is survived by seven children, Gabriel McCord & wife, Tasha, David McCord & wife, Shannon, Mark McCord & wife, Laura, Andrew McCord & wife, Katie, Brianna McCord, Evangeline Cavanaugh & husband, Chris, Magan Kate Agee Ellixson, ten grandchildren, Alexis, Aydan, Olivia, Rylee, Westin, Scarlett, Zach, Lia, Spencer, Zadock, and two others on the way.

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Dave Pryor and the Rev. Jonathan Taylor officiating.  The family will receive friends and guests from 1:00 till 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
