David Derry Obituary

DAVID ARTHUR DERRY age 75 of 363 Water Front Lane, Timberlake, NC passed away Monday night, February 28, 2022 at Person Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Derry was born September 6, 1946 in Christian County, IL, son of the late Arthur Levoy & Freda Marie Skiver Derry and was husband of 55 years to Linda Marie LeBlanc Derry who survives. He was retired from Ford Motor Company and was a veteran of the US Navy where he served during the Vietnam era.

David enjoyed his dogs, hunting, fishing, trading cars every two years, helping others, and being with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Christy Dunckel & husband, Richard of Timberlake, NC, Jennifer Hill & companion, Matt White of Aurora, CO, three grandchildren, Justin Beckman, Hailey Beckman, Alex Hill, and brother, Ronald Derry & wife, Pamela of Ypsilant, MI.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Derry is preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Lee Derry, and Sharon Elaine Bennett.
