Dale Marie (Oliver) Eggert

DALE MARIE OLIVER EGGERT, age 66, of, Roxboro, NC passed away Monday morning, April 14, 2025 at her home. 

Mrs. Eggert was born May 16, 1958 in Person Co., NC, daughter of the late Henry & Mary Vicks Oliver and was wife of nearly 39 years to the late Robert Lewis Eggert.  She was a Blood Drive Coordinator with the North Carolina Red Cross.

Dale enjoyed trips to the beach, talking with people, crafting, volunteering for blood drives at UNC, Duke University, Appalachian State, and Martinsville Speedway, and community events like Personality Fire Prevention Day, National Night Out, Family Day at Fort Bragg, Community Dinner at Myrtle Beach for those who didn’t want to spend Christmas alone which became a Christmas tradition for her and Robert.  The world was a much better place with both her and Robert being a part of it and they will be sorely missed and often thought of.

Surviving are a sister, Sarah Farr, sister-cousin, Rosa Victoriano, fur baby, Junior who now in the care and custody of Aunt Valerie & Uncle Donnie, best friends, Tammy Thomas, Valerie Gentry, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Eggert is preceded in death by a brother, George Oliver.

Efforts are being made to have the next Blood Drive at the Sheriff’s Office in Dale & Robert’s memory.

A gathering of family and friends will take place at a later date.
