Christopher Micheal Dew

CHRISTOPHER MICHEAL “BUBBA” DEW, age 53, of, Roxboro, NC passed away Saturday morning, April 19, 2025 at his residence. 

Mr. Dew was born November 4, 1971 in Horry County, SC, son of Brian Franklin Dew, Sr. & Bonnie Faye Moody Dew both of whom survive.  He was previously employed with Georgia Pacific, Eaton Corp., and Altec, and was of the Baptist faith.

Christopher enjoyed spending time with his dogs, working his flowers, trips to the mountains, and being with family.

Surviving in addition to his parents are siblings, Ann Dew, Lisa Dew, Brian Dew, Jr. & wife, Gwen, Martha Dew, companion, Jonathan Johnson, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Dew is preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Dew.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2025 in the Dew Family Cemetery with Brian Dew, Jr. officiating.  The family will receive friends and guests from 6:00 till 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Strickland and Jones Funeral Services and other times at the home of his parents, 76 Doc Bass Road, Timberlake, NC.  

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o Strickland and Jones Funeral Services, P.O. Box 3040, Roxboro, NC 27573.
