Candice Delores (Stone) Moore

CANDICE DELORES STONE WALKER MOORE, age 56, of 2735 Lucy Garrett Road, Timberlake, NC died Wednesday morning, October 28, 2020 at Duke University Hospital.

Mrs. Moore was born January 3, 1964 in Durham County, NC, daughter of the late Granville Thomas Swain & Marie Neal Green Swain and was wife of 25 years to Bruce Moore who survives. Prior to becoming ill, she was employed with Brookland Eats.  Candice enjoyed shopping, tending her flower garden, cooking, trips to the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Ronnie Allen Walker, Jr. of Raleigh, NC, Crystal Marie Walker (Terry Yellock) of Timberlake, NC, Phillip Nichols Walker & wife, Crystal of Roxboro, NC, step-daughter, Valinka Moore of Roxboro, NC, three grandchildren, Avery Kareem Yellock, Brody Nichols Walker, Briella Camille Yellock, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by a step-son, Bruce Jerome Moore.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2020 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Elder Ricky Moore officiating.  The family will receive friends and guests at the home.
