Bobby Long, Sr. Obituary

BOBBY GENE LONG, SR., age 39, of 117 Collin Duncan Road, Leasburg, NC died Wednesday morning, September 2, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

 

Mr. Long was born January 10, 1981 in Durham County, NC, son of Roy Ricky Long & Mary Emma Pergerson Long.  He was a welder with Tri City Mechanical and was of the Baptist faith.  Bobby enjoyed fishing, hunting, welding, four wheeling, being outdoors, and most of all spending time with his family.

 

Surviving in addition to his parents are his fiancée, Haley Overby of the home, three children, Kinsley Grace Long, Calip Travis Long, Bobby Gene Long, Jr., brother, Gary Lee Long and Amy Lee Weaver of South Port, NC, sister, Alysia Dawn Duncan & husband, Kirk of Pensacola, FL, two nephews, Coty Duncan, Castiel Duncan, two nieces, Kalyn Duncan and Alli Duncan. 

 

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 till 6:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Hurdle Mills Fire Department, 5939 Hester’s Store Road, Hurdle Mills, NC.
