Barbara Jean (Duncan) Davis

BARBARA JEAN DUNCAN DAVIS, age 87, of 9020 Leasburg Road, Leasburg, NC passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 30, 2025 at the Hock Family Pavilion. Born June 24, 1938 in Person Co., NC, daughter of the late Collin Louis & Viola Barts Duncan and was wife of the late Oakley Leo Davis.  She was retired from farming and was previously employed with the Leasburg Post Office.  She was a member of Leasburg United Methodist Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher and secretary.

Barbara enjoyed mowing her lawn, tending her flowers, watching the birds, working on the farm, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are two sons, Mark Davis, Hank Davis & wife, Terry, grandson, Dillion Davis & wife, Ryleigh, three great-grandchildren, Cayden Davis, Noah Davis, Carter Davis, brother, O.C. Duncan & wife, Linda, and a host of nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Diane Davis, son, Gary Ray Davis, brothers, Donald Lee Duncan, James Louis Duncan, and Burnell Duncan.

The family will receive friends and guests from 1:00 till 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026 in the Leasburg United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall and other times at the home.  Private graveside services will be conducted at a later date.
