ANNETTE LORAINE “LORI” CANADA NEELY, age 59, of, Roxboro, NC passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, April 16, 2025 at the Hock Family Pavilion with her family by her side.
Mrs. Neely was born May 6, 1965 in Durham Co., NC, daughter of the late Patricia Ann Parker Canada and was wife of nearly 29 years to James Raymond “Jim” Neely who survives. Prior to becoming disabled, she worked for MCI as an engineer and was of the Methodist faith.
Lori loved humming birds and enjoyed cooking, peonies, cats & dogs, Reese’s peanut butter eggs, watching Murder Mysteries, reading, traveling, but most of all she loved her husband and family.
Surviving in addition to her husband are six children, Caleb James Neely, Christopher James Neely, Patricia Ann Neely, Jamie Leigh Neely Clay & husband, Sheldon, Natasha Renee Neely Ray, Shannin Richelle Palmer & husband, Jason, two grandchildren, Leia Abigail Neely, Michael Christopher Ray, brother, Andrew Canada & wife, Judy, nephew, Nicholas Canada, cats, Bella Boo, Jelly Belly, and dog, Ranger.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Neely is preceded in death by a son, Michael James Neely, and brother, William Scott Canada.
Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel.
